BIG NEWS!
The Science Kiddo is in a book!
I have published exactly two books during my lifetime. The first book was my thesis for my master’s degree. The title was Photocycloaddition of Allenes and precisely seven people read it. My husband used it to prop up his computer monitor for years before it went on our bookshelf.
I am so pleased and excited to announce that my new book, Learn With Play: 150+ Ideas for Year-Round Fun and Learning has been published! I have worked for months on this book with nearly 100 other bloggers. I think you will find it much more interesting and applicable to your family than my first book was 🙂
This book is a huge and helpful resource. It contains over 150 activities for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners. It grows with your child! One of the things I love most about Learn With Play is that it helps parents, grandparents, and caregivers of all varieties stay engaged and involved as their kids grow and learn.
The activities contained in Learn With Play are simple and creative. Your kids will want to repeat them over and over again! Because Learn With Play was co-authored by so many people you can expect a huge variety of crafts, sensory projects, math and science activities, literacy ideas, and much, much more.
Here are a few of the authors that contributed to Learn With Play. Peruse their blogs to get an idea of what you will find inside the book!
- Holly & Rachel from Kids Activities Blog
- Amanda from The Educator’s Spin On It
- Erica from What Do We Do All Day?
- Cindy from The Art Curator for Kids
- Colleen from Sugar Aunts
- Anne from Left Brain Craft Brain
