Description

This Valentine’s Day gather your little scientists together and get ready for some heart-filled science fun!

14 Super Cool Valentine’s Day Science Activities is an ebook that contains all kinds of bubbly, hands-on, colorful projects that will delight kids ages 3-8. All of the activities are suitable for the classroom or at home, for small groups or large classroom demonstrations alike.

Each activity includes a list of supplies, thorough directions, and a brief explanation of the science behind the experiment. A master list of supplies along with helpful links to specialty items can be found here.

At the end of each science activity you will find three “Variations to Try.” These are intended to build on the scientific concepts taught in each activity.  Before doing any of the extension activities, ask the students what they think will happen and then have them try it to see if their hypothesis was correct. This is an opportunity to get the kids thinking more deeply about what they see.

Remember that kids learn the most when they see, touch, and discover for themselves. Let them test their own ideas to see what happens, let them make mistakes, and let them get their hands messy!

And above all, HAVE FUN!

Makes me wish my kids were little again or that my grandkids lived closer. What a fun way to learn about the wonderful world around us.
